The Catalan capital of Barcelona is the second largest Spanish city. It is famous for its many architectural treasures of Antonio Gaudi and his contemporaries. Each year you will find some new buildings and constructions here, which make the city more interesting. Aside from its architecture, Barcelona is also famous in sports, having hosted the 1992 Summer Olympics and other major tournaments in tennis, marathon, swimming, motocross and Formula One races. FC Barcelona, the city’s major soccer club is the only team to win the sextuple by winning six titles out of six in a single year. What about spending a few days here?
Day 1 – Arrival
Hola! Welcome to Barcelona. After landing you will be picked up by an English speaking driver who will take you to your hotel. There is no fixed program today, so you can relax after the flight or go into the streets. Night in a 3-star hotel.
Day 2 - Go Cart City Tour and Flamenco Show
You have arrived to Barcelona and you would highly probably need more than a day to visit all the highlights of the city such as Catedral de Santa Maria del Mar, Sagrada Familia, Camp Nou - Barcelona FC Stadium, Castillo de Montjuïc, Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya, Plaza de Toros and more. But there is a way how to manage it all in a day. Rent a GoCar which takes you around the city! This cute, yellow-coloured car is easy to drive and since it is GPS-guided, it tells your exact location or where to turn, wherever you are in the city. For those who do not fancy this unusual city tour, we can provide a regular sightseeing tour. In the evening you can watch a flamenco show and taste the delicious Spanish paella (optional tour, see below). Night in the hotel.
Day 3 - Montserrat
The morning is at leisure. If you want to explore the city deeper, go ahead! Or relax on a beach, have a coffee, do some shopping. In the afternoon you visit Montserrat - an incomparable place not to be missed, with spectacular mountain views, ancient monastery, holy shrine.
